Many people search for 'allergy testing' when they are looking for help with their adverse reactions. However, most people experience food intolerances or substance sensitivities; while many people with digestive 'discomfort' would experience 'food related symptoms'. Even though the term 'allergy' is commonly used to describe any adverse or negative reaction, true allergies only affect a minority of the population app. 4% of adults and app. 10% of children.
"Any substance can become a trigger causing symptoms - and in turn - any symptom can be caused by a substance reaction".
Foods and environmental substances are also known to worsen symptoms or conditions. Often there are more than one food or substance involved that are not well tolerated, causing reactions and various symptoms. ‘Allergy Links’ aim is to establish any substance, that may cause a burden, or is ‘disagreeable’, and thus is likely to be the cause or contributor to any symptoms - specific and non-specific.
People with probable allergy are urged to consult their GP (immediate reactions, hives, itchy rash, swelling). Any person suffering an immediate IgE mediated reaction to a specific food should consult a medical practitioner to discuss avoidance, testing for type 1 allergy (IgE mediated), risk assessment for anaphylaxis and emergency medication.
All the Tests include a balance of foods, non-food items and substances, including Nutrient Analysis - Vitamin & Mineral check. A full list of items tested and samples are shown under each test.
Our unique holistic tests safely and effectively establish which specific food or substances (potential allergen/s), may affect you, cause reactions or pose some form of ‘stress’ to your body.
The tests are designed to be self-explanatory. All results include a comprehensive test report - explaining reactions, foods and substances. The detailed information provided will most likely answer any questions you may have.

For children - from 6 months - we recommended the Basic 75 and Standard 150 items Tests, as children are usually only affected by the 15 most common foods that trigger adverse reactions.
Babies can be tested from the age of app. 6 months, if on formula or solid foods. Please specify on the test-form if the Baby is breastfeed or weaned. It is helpful if you supply a list of formulas and/or all foods.

The accuracy of the testing procedure lies between 90% - 99%. The standardised testing protocol incorporates an accuracy check which is geared to reach an accuracy of 97-100%. AllergyLink's unique test method, employs a standardised test-protocol for detecting adverse reactions, Intolerances & substance sensitivities.
The main influence of AllergyLink is the pioneering work from NAET® ‘Nambudripads Allergy Elimination Techniques’ and Allergy Antidote™.
Based on Vibrational Medicine, the test is established through a 'biofeedback' method called Radiesthesia. The refined testing procedure utilizes an information carrier, like a hair sample, which contains the energy imprint or frequencies of a person.
